As a Concord Planning Commissioner, community volunteer, or neighbor, Aeysha has established herself as the go-to person when people in our community need help with getting information from the city, advocating for safer streets, or alerting the city to dangerous conditions. Now she is running for Concord City Council to be our district's problem solver at City Hall.

Aeysha Corio is a responsive leader who has dedicated her time to fixing problems in our community. As a Concord Planning Commissioner, community volunteer, or neighbor, Aeysha has established herself as the go-to person when people in our community need help with getting information from the city, advocating for safer streets, or alerting the city to dangerous conditions. Now she is running for Concord City Council to be our district's problem solver at City Hall.
Aeysha chose to move to Concord because she wanted a safe community for her family to put down roots. She wanted her adult children to have the option to live close by, and enough economic opportunity to make this a sustainable place to live for everyone in her family.
As a new resident and local small business owner, Aeysha enrolled in the Concord Community Institute, a program that introduces residents to how Concord works. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion and commitment to community service. She joined the Concord Pavilion Community Outreach Committee and was later asked to serve as a Planning Commissioner, where she uses her deep knowledge of land use and planning policy to help guide responsible growth, while protecting the quality of life that make Concord such a special place.
Aeysha is known for her strong work ethic and practical yet creative problem-solving. She believes leadership means listening carefully, bringing people together, and finding solutions that get results. She is deeply committed to public safety and ensuring that families feel secure in their neighborhoods, while keeping Concord a vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family.
Her passion for service also extends as an active leader in several organizations. For example, Aeysha has helped raise $25million for Cancer Support Community San Francisco Bay Area to fund an innovative community center, the first of its kind in California. She also has served in several leadership positions with John Muir Community Health Fund, where she works to distribute grants and partner with community based organizations. Aeysha knows that while some problems are unavoidable, what matters is how you fix the problem, both in a realistic and timely way.
Aeysha Corio is a small business owner, a wife to Steve, a mother of four, and a grandmother of two.
